Prof Jun Du, Dr Meng Song and Dr Oleksandr Shepotylo have been awarded £20,000 from the AHRC funded Creative Industries Policy & Evidence Centre (PEC) at Nesta. This follows another project awarded earlier this year, also worth £20,000 by Prof Jun Du and Dr Oleksandr Shepotylo. The first project will evaluate the impact of Brexit on services trade in the UK Creative sectors and the second project will track and evaluate UK creative firms’ trade and growth dynamics in 2021. Both projects are to be completed before the summer and expected to provide novel insights and policy recommendations on the challenges and opportunities creative sectors face in international trading post the EU exit and Covid pandemic.
